Customer Testimonial

This is our 3rd time using this company when we have had plumbing issues. They do quality work. Very knowledgeable and diagnosed our problem quickly. Called prior to arrival and arrived promptly as stated. Friendly and courteous.

How Much Does a Sewer Inspection Cost?

Individuals typically request sewer inspections, unfortunately, when their sewer line is backing up. The average cost for a residential video sewer inspection can cost somewhere between $250-$800. Some things may alter the price, (the length of the sewer line, if a clean out is present outside, does a toilet need to be removed for access to the sewer line, etc.)

A typical Sewer Inspection usually starts with reaming the sewer line either from the cleanout outside (from $485.00) or removing a toilet for access to the sewer line ($685.00). The plumbers clear the blockage in the line, test the system and clean up. Most plumbers will recommend a video inspection of the inside of the sewer line to determine the cause of the backup, which typically is around $250.00. Once you find the cause (foreign debris in line, lines installed with inverted pitches—not flowing properly, collapsed or broken lines) and have it corrected, this should alleviate further backups in your sewer system.

Our plumbing video camera inspections tell us what and where the problem is like leaking or broken joints, intruding roots, blockages, corrosion or collapsed pipes.

Atlanta Sewer Camera Inspection

Can’t find a water leak? Let the highly trained specialists @ Plumbing and Mechanical Consultants detect that water leak for you.

No Guess work! Our expert plumbers use the most up to date, state of the art electronic, thermal, digital and acoustic leak detection equipment on the market today to quickly identify and pinpoint water leaking, a burst pipe, and provide you with a repair estimate on the spot. There is no guesswork involved, saving you money on countless digging labor hours to find a water leak.

One of the many pieces of equipment we own & value is our Video Camera for Video Camera Pipe Line Inspections. These cameras allow us to perform a visual inspection of water lines, sewer lines and drains that are underground, under cement slabs or even inside walls & floors. We use a high resolution video camera that is inserted into the pipe and travels throughout the pipe for a complete view. This allows our plumbers to see exactly what and where the problem is, providing you a complete and accurate repair estimate right then and there. We also offer video recordings for our customers to keep in DVD form.

Identify Problems:

Leak Detection is one of our most common calls here at Plumbing and Mechanical Consultants. Whether you receive an earth shaking high water bill or have water flooding your home, Our plumbers can find the leak immediately, diagnose the situation using our leak detection equipment, provide you a quick repair estimate and get your home back in working order, typically the same day. We also offer 24/7 Emergency Services for those emergency water leaks that happen after hours.

Our Video Camera Pipe Line Inspection service is used to visually inspect the interior condition of your pipes. This procedure identifies anything from tree roots that have grown inside of your pipes, to broken pipes, corroded, collapsed, clogged pipes, grease buildup, debris & even foreign objects that are stuck or lodged inside of the pipes. We perform this video inspection service before and after the repair to confirm that the repair is complete from further problems. We recommend this service if you find that your drains keep backing up or are draining slowly, as well as new home inspections to alleviate expensive repairs after you purchase your new home.
